Community partners

Nonprofit and community-based organizations and schools are strengthened by the support of VCU students who contribute 15 hours per semester of their time, energy and expertise. In return for your participation in service-learning, you’ll connect students to the needs of the greater-Richmond area.

By participating in service-learning, you’ll find that the experience:

• Provides a dependable, sustainable number of service hours from students who work on a project, which addresses an organization’s unmet need.
• Offers skilled service and expertise to the community.
• Contributes to the actualization of projects larger or more complicated than otherwise feasible.
