In exchange for your service as an AmeriCorp member, you’ll receive:
- An annual living allowance of $11,400 for full-time members, $6,035 for half-time members and $4,527 for reduced half-time members (may be subject to annual adjustments).
- An education award of $4,225 for full-time members, $2,363 for half-time members and $1,800 for reduced half-time members upon successful completion of program requirements (may be subject to annual adjustments).
- Health care benefits for full-time members.
- Child-care reimbursement for full-time members who meet eligibility requirements.
Members can serve up to two years and earn two separate educational awards.
