LFSC 591 Botany: Gardens and the Wilds

Study at Richmond’s fabulous Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden and explore the wilds of VCU’s Rice Center for Environmental Life Sciences on the James River between the Shirley and Berkeley plantations. Don’t miss this botanical adventure. Dr. Greg Plunkett is the instructor.

America Reads All summer workshops meet for a week of field work, laboratory activities and lecture-discussions. Each also includes an independent follow-up component of applying knowledge and skills learned during the summer to your instruction. Follow-up work may be completed anytime from the end of the workshop through October. Credit can be awarded when follow-up work is submitted. See additional course descriptions for more information.
