Meet the instructors

Katie Campbell

Katie Campbell has worked in the field of volunteer resources management for 30 years as practitioner, author, trainer and leader. From 1997 – 2004 she was executive director of the Association for Volunteer Administration (AVA), the international professional association for leaders and managers of volunteer programs. Previously she was director of the Virginia Office of Volunteerism, where she worked for 14 years. Campbell has served on the boards of directors of several local, state and national organizations, and is certified in Volunteer Administration. Her commitment to this profession is reflected throughout her career, as is her passionate belief in the power and potential of volunteerism.
