Celia Broadus brings over twenty years of accounting experience with the last ten years working within the not for profit sector. Ms Broadus’ not for profit accounting background spans two positions the first as Director of Finance for the Richmond Symphony and the second as Comptroller for Child Savers of Richmond.
Most recently Ms Broadus formed, Accounting Strategies to Solutions LLC, in 2006 a private accounting consulting practice that provides services primarily to the not for profit community and in January 2008 she began consulting full time.
Ms Broadus also serves as advisory and instructor to the Non Profit Learning Center (formerly, Especially for Not for Profit), at Virginia Commonwealth University and the Phoenix Project Not for Profit Leadership Program.
Memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants
Celia holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration concentration. Management from SUNY College at New Paltz, N.Y, 1986 and is currently pursuing her professional accounting license and is designated as a CPA candidate.
