From the north

Take I-95 South to Exit 74C to US-250 West (Broad Street). At 11th Street turn right and go two blocks to Clay Street. Turn right onto Clay. The museum is on the corner of 12th and Clay streets to the right. Park in the VCU Medical Center’s Visitors lot. Please bring your ticket to be validated at the Visitor Services desk.

Take the elevator to the Main Hospital, Level 8. Exit toward Clay Street. The Museum of the Confederacy is to the left. Enter through the main museum entrance. The Gray Room is located on the lower level. Use the steps to the left of the Visitor Services desk to go to the lower level. The Gray Room is at the bottom of the steps.

From the south

Take I-95 North to Exit 74C to US-250 West (Broad Street). At 11th Street turn right and go two blocks to Clay Street. Turn right onto Clay. The museum is on the corner of 12th and Clay streets to the right. Park in the VCU Medical Center’s Visitors lot. Please bring your ticket to be validated at the Visitor Services desk.
