From the north or west
Take I-95 South or I-64 East to Richmond. Take Exit 78 (Boulevard) and go south on Boulevard to West Broad Street. Turn left onto West Broad Street and go one block. The museum is located on your left.
Pull into the Children’s Museum parking lot. Enter the group entrance located to the left when facing the building. The door will be locked, but we’ll be looking out for you to let you inside. The Children’s Pavilion is located to the right (kind of behind you) once you enter the museum. Enter through the wooden double doors between the two race cars.
From the south or east
Take I-95 North or I-64 West to Richmond. Take Exit 78 (Boulevard) and turn left at the stop sign (bottom of ramp). Turn right at the next light and go a few blocks to Boulevard. Turn left onto Boulevard and continue to the light at West Broad Street. Turn left onto West Broad and the museum is one block ahead on the left. (Continue using the same directions as those from the north or west.)
From Chesterfield County (Powhite Parkway)
Take I-288 to Powhite Parkway North (toll road). Cross the James River Bridge and stay to the left (toward I-64 West). Take the Patterson Avenue exit and turn left onto Thompson Street at the end of the exit ramp. Follow Thompson through the lights of Patterson and Monument. Turn right onto West Broad Street; go through the light at Boulevard and the museum is one block ahead on the left. (Continue using the same directions as those from the north or west.)
