Intersession
Please Note: The Division of Community Engagement no longer administers the Intersession program at VCU. All Intersession inquiries should be directed to Daphne Rankin in University College.
Virginia Commonwealth University schedules a holiday intersession between the fall and spring semesters. The session normally begins on Dec. 27, and meets on 11 days, including university holidays and Saturdays. During intersession, classes meet from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. with an hour break for lunch. It is possible to take one three-credit undergraduate class during this time period, in subjects as diverse as art history, business, literature, philosophy, political science and speech.
Registration
Students register as part of spring registration and the intersession fee includes tuition only — no additional fees are charged. Registration is open to all qualified students. Visiting students who are home for the holidays are encouraged to take a class with us and earn three transferable credits.
Contact
Note again that the Division of Community Engagement DOES NOT administer Interssion any longer.
